About

Hiya! I’m Michelle Boisson.

I’m a grad student at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program focusing on interaction design and development, user experience design, and information architecture. This is where I post assignments and work in progress.

I am interested in exploring interaction on various levels: how people interact with each other, how people interact with products, how products can help facilitate interaction between people, and how interaction design shapes our physical, social and personal words.

The name “input. process. output. repeat.” comes from the definition of interaction as described by Chris Crawford in “The Art of Interaction Design: A Euphonious and Illuminating Guide to Building Successful Software.” Crawford talks about interaction as a cyclic conversation in which two actors take turns listening, thinking, and speaking. In computing terms, this translates to input, process, output, then repeat.
